Complete renovation of multi-unit housing in Southern Denmark. SIB Byggeri A/S is mounting Knauf ultraboard gypsum on all interior walls.

The cutting robot, Amigo, is used to cut all the gypsum boards. SIB Byggeri A/S has chosen Amigo cutting robot for the project in order to reduce dust on the construction site significantly and to introduse technology to the construction project.

The Alsbo project is the first project with the Amigo cutting robot.

– We use Amigo for as many board materials as possible. So far, we have been cutting Wedi boards, regular fiber gypsum and particle boards. Amigo is EXTREMELY accurate and cuttings fit within tenths. This is even when we cut strips – they become totally identical. I just think that it is easier with Amigo even for regular gypsum because we get really sharp edges. Martin Stougaard, Carpenter.
