Faber Bygg AS is main contractor at the new university hospital in Stavanger (SUS), Norway. The project is the largest construction site in Norway and Faber Bygg A/S has mounted 125,000 sqm of Fermacell fiber gypsum and regular gypsym boards. Two KOBOTS 925 have been aquired for the construction of the project. The cutting robots are primarily cutting strips to the carpenters. With the cutting robot strip function, the team can work non-stop with millimeter accurate cuttings every time.

The purpose of the cutting robot is to secure a better working environment for the employees and at the same time secure a better workflow. Especially the work environment has been important to Faber Bygg AS as they are responsible for reducing dust and bad work postures significantly.

– It is much faster and we get mush more accurate boards every time. The cutting robot and I are cutting enough boards to keep four to five men going at a time. Bjørn Helstrup, Carpenter.
